More than 15,000 tourists coming to Ham Rong Mountain
The Ham
Rong Mountain ecotourism area (Sapa) managed by the Ham Rong
rubber tree and tourist JSC had welcomed more than 15,000 participations of
domestic and international visitors, which is the record of 2012. Especially,
in 29 April, the opening ceremony of “Traditional Culture Festival: in the
program of Sapa on the cloud festival 2012 had welcomed 6,000 visitors to
visit the peak of Ham Rong and enjoy many types of flowers in the cold area.
Besides, there are some traditional performaces and games of local ethnic people
in Sapa.
The ticket price for Ham Rong mountain in this occasion is 70,000 dong/person, and it is discounted 1/3 compared to the beginning of 2012.
The new feature of Ham Rong Mountain is 12
statues of 12 zodiac sign animals newly set in the European flower garden which
attracts so many visitors. Meanwhile, the first climbing competition was held
in ham Rong and many people were joining in.
Ham Rong ecotourism area is considered one of
the famous landscapes in Lao Cai and it is being developed and invested to be
the most attractive tourist destination of North West Vietnam in the coming
time.
