Book Your Next Trip With Travel Agencies That Provide Tour Packages

What is it exactly about Vietnam tour packages that make Westerners want to jump out of their seats and catch the next available flight? It is probably the thought of spending time in a foreign land eating exotic food and seeing sights that are found nowhere else. Yes, that is probably the answer. If you are one of those adventure seeking travelers, here are a few different Vietnam tour packages that will be well worth your while.

The king of all Vietnam holidays one can take, is a trip to Halong Bay. It has been twice recognized as a World Natural Heritage site by UNESCO. The first time was in 1994, when it was cited for its lush, beautiful landscapes. The second time it received this honor was in the year 2000 for its magnificent geological formations. This place is one of the 7 must-visit places in the world. Made up of over 3000 uneven large and small limestone islands, it rises magnificently from the clear, emerald waters in an area of 1,553 square kilometers.

With this staggering fact in mind, it can create a truly stunning picture in your mind's eye. This magical mix of big and small islands has caused many tourists to rebook their flights and stay a little longer. There are also boats that let you take in Halong Bay's gorgeous scenery in complete comfort. Many tourists who book Vietnam tour packages say that one trip you should not miss is a visit to Halong Bay.

The next destination that a Vietnam holidays tour operator will entice you with is stunning Sapa. This place is in the northwest region of Vietnam and is much closer to the Chinese border. About 340 kilometers northwest of Hanoi, Sapa is placed at an altitude of around 1,600 meters and dominated by the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.

The highest of these, Fansifan, rises 3,143 meters above sea level and is the highest mountain in Indochina. You will probably find no other place in the world offering the spectacular vistas Sapa and its multi-terraced rice paddy fields have to showcase. Apart from its natural wonders, a visit to this enchanting place also lets you discover 7 colorful ethnic minority groups making their home here.

The third stop-over that will probably be recommended by your Vietnam tour packages agency is Hanoi. This is a major highlight for first-time visitors to the country and should not be missed out on. Throughout its colorful history, marked by destruction, wars, and natural calamities, Hanoi still retains its old world charm. There are numerous preserved architectural works including the Old Quarter, made up of over 36 commercial streets and over 600 pagodas and temples.

Some of Hanoi's best known sites include the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the Hanoi Citadel, the Hanoi Opera House, and Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. It is interesting to note that the Temple of Literature was the first university ever built in Vietnam. Because of that, UNESCO presented the country with a World Heritage for Ancient Education document.

If you want to take a breather while resting in between your Vietnam holidays, the city of Hanoi has 18 natural lakes such as Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake, and Thien Quang Lake. You can run, jog, or walk around its perimeters.
